Favourite Series Endings

I love when an ending to a series is so good that you can just feel the journey the characters have went on or the over arcing story comes together in such a perfect way. I thought I’d talk about five of my favourite series endings today and even though some of these endings were very heart wrenching I still loved them and thought the conclusions suited the story. I’m also linking up to Top Ten Tuesday (which is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl) but instead of the topic of The Last Ten Books That Gave Me a Book Hangover I went with my Favourite Series Endings instead.

The Toll (Arc of a Scythe #3) by Neal Shusterman – I liked the first two books in this trilogy but I loved the last book even more. I loved the way the author wrote The Toll and how the world was described, the storytelling was so captivating in The Toll and I loved how everything wove together.

Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices #3) by Cassandra Clare – I think a lot of people can agree with me on how amazing the ending of Clockwork Princess was. I was so surprised at the ending and the trilogy will always be one of my favourites because of the characters and the ending.

Champion (Legend #3) by Marie Lu – I know Champion is not the official end of the Legend series now since Rebel has been released but I’m still counting it as the ending since that’s where the main storyline wrapped up. I remember when Champion came out a lot of people hated the ending but I actually loved it, it was very emotional and I loved that because it made a lasting impression on me while also still feeling true to the series.

War of Mist (The Oremere Chronicles #3) by Helen Scheuerer – I loved this fantasy trilogy and was very sad that it was over but I liked how everything wrapped up and I liked how immense this last book felt.

Kingdom of Ash (Throne of Glass #7) by Sarah J Maas – Throne of Glass is one of my favourite series and so much happens throughout the course of the books so I was nervous about how it would end but I needn’t have worried because I loved the ending. It felt like such an epic conclusion to the series and I loved how far the characters had come and where they ended up.
