Top Ten Tuesday – Favourite Book Quotes #2

fave book quotes

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is: Favourite Book Quotes. I’ve already done a post about my favourite book quotes before which you can find here. Below are some of my most recent favourite quotes.

The world shifts, tilts, sometimes collapses. But sometimes, it bends toward you, and everything feels right. – Rebel (Legend #4) by Marie Lu

Fear was a poison. Fear was a prison. Fear was the bridesmaid of regret, the butcher of ambition, the bleak forever between forwards and backwards. – Darkdawn (The Nevernight Chronicle #3) by Jay Kristoff

Just like that, things change–the faint, filmy bubble of summer pops, September’s cool breath whooshes in, and life moves on. – Proof of Forever by Lexa Hillyer

If remembering tells us who we are, then forgetting keeps us sane. If we recalled every song we’d ever heard, every touch we’d ever felt, every pain no matter how small, every sadness no matter how petty, every joy no matter how selfish, we could surely lose our minds. – The Air You Breathe by Frances de Pontes Peebles

You do not know how fast you have been running, how hard you have been working, how truly exhausted you are, until someone stands behind you and says, “It’s OK, you can fall down now. I’ll catch you.” – The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

Through love, all is possible. – House of Earth and Blood (Crescent City #1) by Sarah J Maas

  1. I can not believe I am still saying this, but I *really* need to read “Evelyn Hugo”! It has been on my TBR list for *years* and reading the quote you selected from it really drives home just how good of a book it is and what an awesome writer the author is!

  2. Found you from TTT. Frances de Pontes Peebles and Taylor Jenkins Reid, both were very, very real. I think if we remain stuck in our painful past, we can never get ahead. And I wish all of us have someone who can tell us it’s OK to let go.

  3. Love the one from Rebel… I’m a huge fan of Warcross and The Young Elites so I should get down to the Legend series soon! 😊
