I sometimes think I do more posts talking about new releases instead of the books that have been out a while so today I thought I’d talk about some books that I’ve been wanting to read that have been released over two years ago.
Trail of Lightning (The Sixth World #1) by Rebecca Roanhorse – I’ve been wanting to read this book since it first came out and I don’t know why I still haven’t got to it yet but this year is the year (hopefully) I’m going to read it.
Next Year in Havana by Chanel Cleeton – This is another book I’ve had on my tbr for a while. It sounds like it could be an emotional read so maybe that’s why I’ve been unconsciously putting it off.
The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon – The blurb from this book has always seemed interesting to me but it wasn’t until last year where I finally realised that I did want to read it so I ended up adding it to my tbr list.
Forever Interrupted by Taylor Jenkins Reid – I’ve read nearly all of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s books and I’ve loved them all so it’s no surprise that I want to catch up on the books I haven’t read yet.
Wolfsong (Green Creek #1) by T.J. Klune – I’ve heard so many great things about this series and I love reading shifter books so I can’t wait to read it and I also really want to read The House in the Cerulean Sea by this author too.
The Bridge Kingdom by Danielle L. Jensen – This is a recent addition to my tbr list but I’ve heard it’s a really good fantasy romance so I want to read it.

I can only recommend Wolfsong 😀 – I’m also picking a couple backlist books for this year, the ones I wasn’t able to read last year. Looking forward to them. Also, I still have some TJR books to read 🙈
