The Magical Readthon: Orilium Spring Equinox 2022 is a readathon created by Book Roast and will take place throughout this month (April). This is such a detailed readathon where you can pick your character and have them go on a journey as you participate in the readathon. It sounds very complicated but it’s easy to understand once you check out the announcement video which will provide you all the details. I had fun doing the Orilium: The Novice Path readathon last September and I am very excited to participate this April.
The Calling I’ve chosen is: Moon Warden
My prompts and book picks are:
Elemental Studies – book under 100 pages – Shadow’s Legacy (The Iron Fey: Evenfall #0.5) by Julie Kagawa or Winter Dreams (a Wicked Lovely story) by Melissa MarrĀ – I haven’t decided but will most likely read one of these two for this prompt.
Astronomy – top of tbr list – Under the Whispering Door by T.J. Klune – I’ve been meaning to get to this book for a while and I’m very excited for it.
Art of Illusion – book with trope you like – Compelled (Shadow Beast Shifters #5) by Jaymin Eve or What Lies Beyond the Veil by Harper L. Woods – I don’t have a specific trope in mind but both these books sound like they’ll be books I’ll love so I’m guessing the tropes in them will be ones I enjoy.
Restoration – book featuring healers – I haven’t picked out a book for this yet because I don’t know of any book I plan on reading that has healers in it so I might just find out as I read something then I can tick this off.
Spells and Incantations – short stories/essays – The Anthropocene Reviewed by John Green – I don’t usually read nonfiction but I’ve been wanting to read this for a while because I find John Green’s writings interesting and would like to read more.
What’s on your April tbr? Are you planning on doing this readathon?
Moon Warden was one of the callings that piqued my interest! I loved Under the Whispering Door and I want to read Anthropocene Reviewed as well. I hope you enjoy all these books and happy reading for class š
