Magical Readathon: Orilium Autumn Equinox TBR 2022

It’s time for another Magical Readathon set in the Orilium world. This is a readathon that takes place a few times during the year and is created by Book Roast. It’s a detailed readathon but a very fun and immersive one, you can check out the announcement video for more details. This is the Orilium Autumn Equinox readathon which is happening throughout this month (August) and I can’t wait to get started on my tbr.

In the last readathon (Spring Equinox 2022) I picked the calling of Moon Warden, below are the grades I need to further this career and the reading prompts that go with them.

Moon Warden

O in Elemental Studies

fangs

O – Element of Water – start a book with a drink – This should be easy because I can pick any book for this prompt so I choose Fangs by Sarah Anderson.

Q in Astronomy

rules of redemption the war of two queens

O – Lillievae – letter L in the title – Rules of Redemption (The Firebird Chronicles #1) by T.A. White
Q – Ravensparn – book with archers or rangers – The War of Two Queens (Blood and Ash #4) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Q in Restoration

where the drowned the bone season

O – Object Restoration – a single object as the focus of the cover – Where the Drowned Girls Go (Wayward Children #7) by Seanan McGuire
Q – Enchanted Scroll Mending – one of the oldest books on your tbr – The Bone Season (The Bone Season #1) by Samantha Shannon

O in Spells and Incantations

all our hidden gifts archangels sun

O – Spell: Recolour – use a colour wheel and pick a book matching said colour – I used an online colour wheel generator and got the colour purple. I haven’t decided between All Our Hidden Gifts by Caroline O’Donoghue or Archangel’s Sun (Guild Hunter #13) by Nalini Singh but I’ll definitely be reading one of these for the challenge.

Are you participating in the Magical Readathon? What books are you reading?
